Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using any of the services provided by Amadeus Audio Studios, located at 6253 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028, and operated by Aurelia Visconti, CEO, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use our services. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Amadeus Audio Studios ("we," "us," or "our"). 2. Services Provided

Amadeus Audio Studios offers a range of audio production services, including but not limited to: recording, mixing, mastering, voiceover recording, and podcast recording. Specific details regarding the scope and nature of each service will be outlined in individual service agreements or project proposals.

3. Booking and Scheduling

All studio time and services must be booked in advance. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit, as specified in the booking agreement. Amadeus Audio Studios reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its sole discretion. We recommend booking studio time at least one week in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons. Cancellation policies apply as outlined below.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due according to the schedule outlined in the project proposal or booking agreement. A deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is typically due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed. We accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), and bank transfers. Late payments may be subject to interest charges at a rate of 1.5% per month, or the maximum rate permitted by law.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled session will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 to 72 hours of the scheduled session will forfeit 50% of the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will forfeit the entire deposit. No-shows will be charged the full session fee. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability.

6. Studio Usage

Clients are expected to use the studio equipment and facilities responsibly and in accordance with instructions provided by our engineers. Any damage to equipment or facilities caused by negligence or misuse will be the responsibility of the client and will be charged accordingly. Clients are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment brought into the studio; Amadeus Audio Studios is not liable for any loss or damage.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client retains ownership of the copyright to their original audio recordings. Amadeus Audio Studios retains the copyright to any original compositions, arrangements, or sound designs created by our engineers as part of the service. Clients are granted a license to use these elements within their project, but commercial exploitation of these elements outside of the project requires prior written consent from Amadeus Audio Studios. By utilizing our services, clients guarantee that they have all necessary rights to the audio and/or visual material they provide to us and will indemnify Amadeus Audio Studios against any claims arising from copyright infringement or other intellectual property violations.

8. Liability

Amadeus Audio Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question. While we take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and security of our studio, clients acknowledge that audio production involves inherent risks, and Amadeus Audio Studios is not responsible for any personal injury or property damage sustained while on our premises, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Confidentiality

Amadeus Audio Studios respects the confidentiality of our clients' projects. We will not disclose any confidential information or materials to third parties without prior written consent, except as required by law. Our employees and contractors are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

10. Revisions and Approvals

Our services typically include a reasonable number of revisions, as specified in the project proposal. Additional revisions may be subject to additional charges. Final approval of the delivered product (e.g., mixed or mastered track) is the responsibility of the client. Once final approval is given, Amadeus Audio Studios is not responsible for any subsequent changes or modifications. We encourage clients to thoroughly review all work and provide detailed feedback during the revision process.

11. Termination

Amadeus Audio Studios reserves the right to terminate any project or service agreement if the client breaches these Terms, fails to make timely payments, or engages in conduct that is disruptive or harmful to our business. In the event of termination by Amadeus Audio Studios, any unused portion of the deposit may be refunded, at our sole discretion. The client may terminate the agreement, subject to the cancellation policy outlined above.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

13. Changes to Terms

Amadeus Audio Studios reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates or changes. Your continued use of our services after the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
